Tungstenturtle Poetry

A rare precious metal,
very valuable to sell.
Shiny, still grey, nothing special,
apart from steel, you could not tell.

It hid from humanity very well,
three chemists did fail.
It needed a german pharmacist,
tought a lesson to every chemist.

The problem, it is super rare,
in repeated tests it was simply not there.
Karl Ernst Claus made it right,
brought Ruthenium to light.

It is used to strengthen palladium.
or his brother platinum.
In electronic contacts,
as structure hardener it acts.

Ruthenium is a catalyst,
maybe to honor the pharmacist.
It is used in cancer treatment medication,
an effective but expensive variation.

Hard to find, simply improving
less energy, less material, moving,
Ruthenium, a nice to have actor,
a quality element, with a high price factor.
