Bunnies in pole possion,
with a single mission,
hide colourful eggs,
in baskets and kegs,

in the garden in the bush,
hidden with a certain rush,
that colour dots are spotted,
from eggs decorated and dotted,

Chocolate in various decoration,
are a fixed part of the celebration,
such as certain cake,
once a year to bake,

Easter is claimed for Christianity,
but lets look at the philosophy,
it is the celebration of life,
in a time of strive,

Flowers are fighting through,
making re-birth true,
the cold days get less,
sunshine feels like bless,

The story of overcoming death,
is a hope in these times non the less,
I love the idea and the motivation,
colourful, bunny shaped decoration,

A stop to grey and in door time,
finally a warm sun shine,
that lures us out to feel,
that the cycle of life is real,

Probably not in a religious way,
but if you spot young animals play,
rabbits, deer and birds shout,
this is what life is about.

Spring and easter holiday,
for everyone in a different way,
I wish for everyone a chocolate bunny,
and some free time that is sunny,

to feel the boosting energy,
from every plant and tree,
Feel the joy of finding a nest,
a warm feeling in your chest.
