Once uppon a time,
heroes could shine.
The rules of knighthood,
from everyone understood.

Naive but gentle,
in armor to mentle,
Honor as main principle,
made the special ones invincible.

The colour of the knight,
did tell you his ability to fight.
And if black or red,
very likely dead.

By the white or golden fighter,
slim fit torso, pants even tighter.
The armory is another factor,
it represents the character of the actor.

The crossbow,
is considered as cowardy low.
At least as strong and skilled in dexterity,

and Sir Lancelot the mighty knight,
wielded the fairy sword Arondight,
They are bonded to magic and fate,
of curses and the mighty ones create,

The sword then defines the knight,
as it is the sword who does the fight,
even more mysterious their creators,
rare and sometims even traitors,

but most valuable and honored,
the weapon to those of honor donored.
While Wyland and Trebuchet are traditional,
the mightier the sword the more magical.

The lady of the Lake, a sorceress,
she made swords to impress.
Excalibur itself is the work of Merlin,
unmatched in the magicians kin.

Which knight would you be?
in colour and armory?
which tale would be yours?
would it be on Avalon shores?

Or a fairy forest,
or being at Arthurs castle guest,
dream about some time,
as this dream would be thine
