Tungstenturtle Poetry

One might think of civilization,
of a modern human creation.
Indicating that we overcame
primordial insticts to be bretheren.

But in fact, we are among the wonder life,
one of few species with a death drive,
not hesitating to kill our own kind,
a certain value or gain to unwind,

Without laws and the dictate of morale,
we would battle and fight brutale,
it is our nature to survive and to long,
next to survival there is no right and wrong,

Yet here we are, too many of us on a planet,
with a civilization dictate,
that offers us, as brilliant as we can be,
to overcome and set us from instinct free.

To find another purpose of our existence,
and not fight of boredome and ignorance,
to start being reflected,
not from emontional bloodlust affected.

We still can compete in tournament,
to prove ourselves as participant,
to be better, stronger, faster,
with a pen, a weight or an in game blaster.

We could be there, we could have done,
but it is not an easy task, nature to overcome,
but against every instinct, we follow the grey and old,
with riches and values unknown and untold,

people set appart from reality that far,
that they play with the innocant war,
Threatening millions, sending them to death,
those people should better golf or play chess,

leaving the world to those interested in peace,
those who want to overcome hunger and desease,
to the fit and young, who are interested in prosperity,
and not to send their kids to the military,

People overcame aristocraty,
and stood up against tyranny,
but we are not yet free,
to life our lives peacefully,

and I am sure we could, all together,
origin, culture, no matter,
if we learn that always wanting more,
leads at the end of the day to war,

but maintaining peace and wealth for everyone,
is another challange to bring on,
enough work and dedication would be required,
but from my side peace is much more desired.
