found it as Brevium in advance.

It was an isotope of short half time,
and therefore their discovery could not shine.
Unconventional, but only one isotope does exist
that is of high stability on a long list.

Lise Meitner and Otto Hahn found that one,
and the name of Brevium was gone.
the accepted name was Protactinium,
meaning the precursor for Actinium,

Protactinium has no relevant application,
due to high toxicity and radiation.
Very few experiments were carried out,
but this is everything there is about.

Protactinium is not artificial,
a part of nature so to tell.
It occurs in the Uranium decay chain,
very rare, it has to be sain.

It enriches in Uranium fuel rods,
there it has some odds,
to be part of an experiment,
something to invent.

Protactinium shows us with brutality,
a simple truth and reality.
Some things are dangerous and toxic,
but time does a good trick.

Either it destroys itself from reaction,
therefore it needs precaution and detection.
Or it will over time transform,
to something useful newborn.

Patience and a good observation,
is better than hasty declaration,
Nature can teach us for good,
but not everything is easy understood.
