War

I dare write,
I care cite,
I want truth,
I want to accuse,
I cannot understand,
I faced it not first hand.

The subject war,
shivers to the core.
Fatal failure of diplomacy,
as far as I can see,
what is it good for,
than wanting more?

Causing suffering,
it will never bring,
peace and understanding,
it causes harm and branding,
Generations of hate,
harm their fate.

Words seem insufficient,
to describe the innocent.
Even the majority of soldiers on field,
recruited, deported, meat shield.
Taken away their life, their dream,
their honor cannot be seen.

Young adults at best, on both sides,
fighting for survival of their hides,
against people they do not know,
wishing to settle and grow,
not being used from their chieftain,
for historical claimed land gain,

Tyranny is back in game,
those presidents do not know shame,
Military oppression,
insane, power obsession,
full loss of sanity,
in their artificial reality,

I feel powerless,
I urge for success,
I want peace for good,
I want it understood,
I want it clear,
I want release from fear,

I wish for peace,
a fire cease,
I wish dialogue,
not dictated monologue,
I wish and I need,
love and reason to succeed.
