Some sort of deal,
when the importance is real,
fullfillment required,
something desired,
A father coming to a game,
that a secret is never lame,
to give the best together,
a promise says, you matter.
Be carful in giving them,
but it happens now and then,
make sure to be dutyful,
a promise can be beautiful.
Some can be easily fullfilled,
some are relaxed and chilled,
Some are challenging and hard,
like a friendship bombard,
I promised a friend to be honest,
it did hurt in my chest,
she did wrong and couldn’t see,
everything told, she abandond me,
years later, she told me it was true,
with her inner conflict she was through,
I kept my promise, loosing a friend,
not always a happy end,
A promise, an expectation,
might even be a declaration.
Only give them honest,
avoid them at best,
It is a quest in real life,
but it can give the right drive,
to grow and reach dreams,
a powerful thing it seems.
I promise to keep writing,
about everything,
to gift you a smirk or a grin,
my promise, your win.
