Christmas Cookies

Outside it is getting cold,
time for traditions old.
Grandma’s receipe book,
taking a good look.

Once a year you see,
the kitchen is a bakery.
Always the same creation,
less room for variation.

To increase the sortiment,
time is spent.
One candidate a year,
might additionaly appear.

To be tested and evaluated,
if it might be again created.
A hard selective process,
leads to perfect sucess.

Vanilla crescent,
from the first advent.
Gingerbread,
ten days of christmas ahead.

Store it cold with an apple slize,
they will taste soft and nice.
peanut cookie with chocolate,
coconut dice nugget,

For a broad variation,
and passionate decoration.
Butter cookies a perfect,
every imaginable subject.

Anise bows, less sweet,
a nice little treat.
Candied nuts with cinnamon,
then christmas can come.

The scent like magic,
love and passion the trick.
Better done together,
how much it does not matter.

Share them, enjoy them,
everyone is a gem,
A peacful tradition,
with a sweet mission.
