Helium is a noble gas,
four grams per mol mass.
Four Kelvin boiling point,
rather atmoic than joint.

Dissolved in natural gas deposit,
gained if you cool it.
It is too light to stay,
Helium dissipates away,

in the endless space,
From universe’s genesis a trace.
Helium is gained as alpha radiation,
a not that easy controlled creation.

The most important application,
magnetic resonance imaging realisation
used as liquid cooling medium,
keeps the magnets in superconducting stadium,

you might know the flying baloon,
or the funny voice of a mickey mouse cartoon,
as carrier gas in chromatography,
and as leak detector in modern industry.

It is very rare,
and we should take outmost care,
as it helps in modern medicine,
and analytical screen.

A noble gas indeed,
but once freed,
up up and away,
with no intentions to stay.
