Rhodium is greek for rose,
yet only in its beauty its close.
The reddish material first found,
was not pure, but a compound.
It is grey not otherwise spectacular,
besides the optics it is quite a star.
It is a rare nobel metal with a high melting point,
so it is used as a thermocouple joined.
Added to platin as it is really rare,
no one could afford it bare.
It is used for high temperature measurement,
until sixteennhundred degree celcius, excellent.
Sometimes rhodinated covers are made,
in the cheap jewelery trade.
To protect nickel to touch your skin,
those coatings are nanometer thin.
Twohundret k per kilogramm,
is quite a nobel sum.
But it has a noble duty after all,
to save the climate I would call.
Its an even better catalyst than platinum,
reducing toxic fume.
In your cars when crusing around,
and making heavy motor roaring sound.
But as well for those working pilgrims,
where the car is the only option it seems.
Rare nobel and still of use,
let this be for some rich guys a muse.
So keep in mind that Rhodium,
is currently in a boom.
Consider pro and con in rare earth demand,
when civilization must expand.
