It is used as new silver as well,
here should ring a bell,
Nickel causes an allergy,
without any usefull therapy,

If you dont have it yet,
you will get, thats my bet.
Mostly used as alloying element,
in steels it is excellent.

Nickeled material against corrosion,
for instance sea water erosion.
You find nickel in powder metallurgy,
as alloy addition for automotive industry.

Its oxide is more easily reduced,
so iron conditions can be used.
In PM steel it is one of the big three,
here comes a little nostalgy.

„Nickel, nickel, nickel“¹, closed once a conference,
and substituion is todays consequence.
The man who said this has passed away,
but the memory will stay.

Nickel is a base material in coin production,
and for magnetic induction.
It is one out of four ferromagnets,
as such in mobilephones and tablets.

The substitution of nickel is a future aim,
but nickel has a unique property gain.
Handle with care, a daily companion,
and a positive kation.

As such it works in catalysis,
eating it, is dangerous for your physis
So keep Nickel in your mind,
important, but never trust it blind.
